The certified company manages its activities towards the environment and demonstrates its commitment to:

• meet legal and other applicable requirements
• continuously improve its environmental management system in order to improve, in a global sense, its environmental performance

Management strategies

In order to achieve our corporate management goals, our company:

• has established an environmental policy appropriate to the nature, scale and environmental impacts of its activities and products and services
• defined the environmental aspects of its activities, products and services that it is able to control and/or influence, and identified those that could have a significant environmental impact (including those that affect suppliers and contractors)
• has established procedures to identify environmental laws and other applicable requirements to define how they are applied to its environmental aspects and to keep relevant information up to date
• has implemented effective controls to meet legal and other applicable requirements
• has defined measurable environmental objectives, where practicable, taking into account legal requirements and significant environmental factors, and has prepared programmes to achieve these objectives
• ensures that the personnel working for the organization is aware of the requirements of the environmental management system and that it has the competence to carry out activities that may have important environmental impacts
• has implemented procedures for internal communication, such as responding to - and communicating, if necessary, with - external stakeholders
• ensures that operations associated with significant environmental impacts are carried out with specific controls and monitoring, and monitor the key characteristics of its operations that could have important environmental impacts
• has established and (where possible) tested procedures to address emergencies that could impact the environment
